Administrative Order <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Ore on <br /> g <br /> <br /> I Removing Parking on and Widening <br /> Jefferson Street between 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue <br /> The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: ' <br /> <br /> j A. The Eugene Code provides that the City Manager or the manager's designee shall <br /> <br /> j exercise specific traffic duties by administrative action, including: <br /> <br /> ~ ? Implementing ordinances, resolutions, and motions of the Council <br /> ? and his or her own orders by installing traffic control devices; <br /> Altering traffic control azeas and traffic control devices including, <br /> <br /> j Traffic control signals, signs, and pavement markings, <br /> Crosswalks and traffic lanes, <br /> • Intersection channelization, and <br /> • Parking areas; and <br /> B. The May 1994 Lane County Fairgrounds Master Plan recommends that Jefferson <br /> Street at 13th Avenue be a major gateway into the Fairgrounds; and <br /> C. An new entrance road into the Fairgrounds, located~south of 13th Avenue at <br /> Jefferson Street, will be built before the beginning of the Lane County Fair on <br /> <br /> I August 18, 1996; and <br /> <br /> ~ D. Access Engineering Inc. evaluated the proposed Jefferson Street entrance into the <br /> Fairgrounds in its May 1996 report Fairgrounds Traffic Study.
