That Rule 1.070(1) be amended to provide: <br /> 1.070 VANDALISM AND LITTER. <br /> (1) Wood, flowers, or other vegetation, may not be picked, cut, mutilated, or <br /> removed from any park area without written permission from the City. No person may lie, sleep, <br /> urinate in, defecate in, or otherwise damage or deface any landscaped planting area in a City park. <br /> As used in this subsection, "landscaped planting area" means an area within a City park set aside <br /> for the planting of trees, shrubs, ground cover, flowers, or any combinations of the same. <br /> Public notice of these proposed amendments to the Park Rules shall be given by making <br /> copies thereof available to any person who has requested such notice and by publication thereof <br /> in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City for at least five <br /> consecutive days, providing interested persons an opportunity of not less than 15 days to submit <br /> data or comments thereon.
