NOTICE OF INTENDED INCREASE IN MWMC SEPTAGE USER FEES <br /> I To: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that putsttattt to the provisions of Section 6.411, Administrative Order No. 58-98-11-F <br /> was issued by the City Manager of the City of Eugene on June 26, 1998, establishing monthly sewer user fees effective July 1, <br /> 1998. <br /> The City Manager has investigated the City's current revenue needs and cost of operation of the City's wastewater <br /> 1 ,service system and reviewed the recommendation of the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission (MWMC), and has <br /> proposed to increase the septage user charge for MWMC wastewater service as hereinafter set forth. In July 1998 there was a <br /> j sur~hazge added to the rate to cover costs for improvements to the septage facility, which will expire on September 30, 1999. The <br /> ratei proposed herein was established by surveying other wastewater facilities that accept septage discharge throughout the state <br /> ''i and averaging the rate charged by those agencies.
