ree E tabli a t: <br /> ~1r?~! <br /> The fee for ees shall be calculated as follows: <br /> . <br /> •J <br /> a) Measure the total length of lots within or abutting the street right of way in the area <br /> being developed. <br /> b) Subtract 15 feet for each leg of the vision clearance zone of each intersection <br /> included within the development. <br /> c) Subtract 30 feet for each residential lot or 80 feet for each commercial or industrial <br /> lot within the development (representing future driveways). <br /> d) Divide by 30. <br /> ~ e) Multiply by 1.10 (representing the 10% anticipated tree mortality). <br /> f) Multiply by $300 for local streets or $400 for collector or arterial streets. <br /> The fee is eq to the cost of purchase, installation, and establishment of the street trees required[ <br /> ] by the approved Street Tree Plan. The City will track lot development, <br /> negotiate spe ies with new home owners, plant the new trees, and ensure they become established. <br /> The City will a responsible for replacement of any trees that fail to survive the establishment period. <br /> Revis on of the above fees is necessary in order to comply with directives of the City Council <br /> that the cost o providing City services be recovered from the user or beneficiaries of such services; <br /> and it is in th public interest and essential that these fees be established and implemented as soon <br /> as possible. <br /> Perso s desiring to comment hereon shall submit written comments to the Urban Forester, <br /> 1820 Roose It Blvd., Eugene, Oregon 97402 within 30 days from the date of posting and <br /> publication a indicated below.
