NOTICE OF INTENDED ADOPTION OF <br /> INDEXING OF EQUIVALENT ASSESSMENT RATES <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-7.407. <br /> To: The ayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br /> <br /> I <br /> NOT EIS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.019 of the <br /> Eugene, Code 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to adopt Indexing of Equivalent <br /> Assessment ates Administrative Rule R-7.407 that: <br /> Estab 'shes a methodology and formula for computation and indexing of equivalent <br /> assess ents and their implementation when property is to be connected to a City <br /> waste ater sewer and the owner has not previously paid a local improvement <br /> asses ent for that wastewater sewer; or when an equivalent assessment is to be <br /> Bete fined for street improvements previously constructed by the City. <br /> The p oposed rule is necessary in order to provide uniformity and clarity in the computation <br /> of equivalen assessments and their implementation in a manner consistent with the applicable <br /> provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971, specifically including Sections 6.476 and 7.407, and maybe <br /> reviewed at e office of the City Manager, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, during normal <br /> business ho s (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br /> All p rsons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or <br /> obj ections to he City Manager in writing, within 15 days of the date of the first publication hereof, <br /> as indicated elow.
