The last update occurred in November of 2003. The comment <br /> .period for the updated rules will begin on November 4 and continue for 15 days. <br /> The highlights of the rule update are: <br /> (a) Amend portions of the Use Permits provisions in Rule 1.004; <br /> . ~ (b) amend Rule 1.005(3) Notice of Restriction of Use, to clarify subsection (a) and add a new <br /> subsection <br /> (c) amend the provisions of Rule 1.007 -Possession or Consumption of Hard Liquor and <br /> Alcoholic Liquor to clarify its provisions; <br /> (d) amend Rule 1.008 to prohibit use of tobacco products in all public restroorns; <br /> (e) amend Rule 1.010(15) to clarify prohibited use of playground equipment, picnic tables <br /> t <br /> and picnic shelters; <br /> (f) amend Rule 1.015 to restrict the possession of firearms except as provided therein; <br /> i <br /> (g) amend rule 1.030 to authorize the citing or towing of vehicles not parked in a parking <br /> facility and prohibiting parking under the canopy of a tree unless in a paved parking area; <br /> w <br /> (h) amend the prohibition relating to dogs in Rule 1.050(2); and <br /> r <br /> ~ (i) amend Rule 1.060(2) to clarify the person authorized to permit the activities described <br /> therein; <br /> (j) and readopt the remaining unamended portions of the Pazk and Open Space Rules and <br /> repeal Administrative Order No. 58-03-24-F. <br /> If you would like more information please contact Johnny Medlin at 682-4930 or at <br /> j ohnny.r.medlin@ci, eugene. onus. <br /> <br />
