Thie~e are the facts, as I see them: Gary Heldt attended the Public Hearing on May 9 and entered comments for the record ins the time and manner required. * Gary's comments were considered by the manager, who chose not to extend the public co~r? ent period and signed the Final Order the second day following the hearing. * Gary is now contacting the council directly and requesting feedback on the issues he rai ed at the public hearing, which were summarized in the Administrative Order and were co idered by the Manager prior to the close of the public comment period. Ou~ questions are: * ~ Is Mr. Heldt in violation of the City Code by attempting to influence the outcome of *h~i decision subsequent to the close of the public comment period? ff Is there any further response that we owe to Mr. Heldt? * I How, then, should we respond to the Mayor's request?
