Storm drainage from transportation and building improvements will be connected to an existing storm drain system that does dischazge into the Willamette river. The design of the storm drain improvements will inchuie the use of best management practices, BMP's to pretreat runoff. The City of Eugene is currently formulating a design manual for Storm Water BMP's. A water quality study of the storm drain system will be completed as part of the design.
