A project to <br /> rehabilitate the historic Southern Pacific Passenger Railroad Depot is currently underway; plans <br /> for this necessitate construction of a temporary depot, located to the west of the current depot, <br /> that can be used while the rehabilitation work is being done. The Bunkhouse is to be moved to <br /> the south of this temporary building, within the depot site. Upon completion of the rehabilitation <br /> work and removal of the temporary depot, the Bunkhouse will be moved to a permanent location <br /> to the west of the rehabilitated Depot Building (Reference Drawing #A1 in the application). The <br /> City intends to obtain the services of Chris Shoap in order to move the bunkhouse; his company <br /> has experience relocating historic structures. The land sales agreement stipulates that the current <br /> site of the bunkhouse is to be cleared and left for conventional commercial use.
