Box 2946 <br /> Portland, Oregon <br /> Attention: Mark Dasso <br /> Subject: Delta Ponds Restoration Project <br /> The City of Eugene. strongly supports the Delta Ponds Restoration project as described in the <br /> Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment and intends to enter into a Project Cooperation <br /> Agreement (PCA) with the Army Corps of Engineers for the project. <br /> The City is willing and able to meet cost sharing and other obligations as required under the terms of <br /> the draft PCA for completion of the subject project. Funding for the project has been authorized <br /> through the City's adopted Capital Budget. As City Manager, pro tem I have authority to expend <br /> funds for the projects included in the adopted Capital Budget. <br /> We look forward to entering into this partnership to restore a valuable natural resource area in the <br /> heart of Eugene. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> <br /> Jim Carlson <br /> <br /> City Manager, pro tem <br /> <br />
