Has 4 <br /> additional 5-year extensions: 5-14-01 to 5-14-06 and every 5 years up to 2021. Renewal is automatic except for <br /> termination only after 7 years. <br /> RENT: $7,200 annually due on or before the anniversary of the commencement date. The annual rent for each <br /> renewal term will be the current rent in effect increased by 20%. Peter, here's a line I don't understand: "In <br /> addition, SSLP will pay the sum of $100 to owner on the Commencement Date." Looks like rent was $7,200 <br /> from 1996-2001, and currently it is $8,640 from 2001-2006. In 2006, the rent would jump to $10,368 ($8,640 X <br /> 20%). <br /> CINGULAR WIRELESS (previously was AT&T). I have a copy in file of a letter from Pacific Telecom (notification <br /> by AT&T Wireless) about swapping out/replacing antennas. Susie signed the "confirmation of consent" form but <br /> added on the form: "...provided that this equipment is essentially the same size and shape of the equipment <br /> currently located on the above referenced facilities; that the old equipment is removed, and that the activity is <br /> coordinated with Eugene Wastewater Division staff in order to avoid disruption of plant operations. Rent was <br /> $600/month the first 12 months. Thereafter, each successive year's rent "shall be increased or decreased to <br /> correlate to the percent of change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) starting with the CPI published for June <br /> 1994. There <br /> I have Meg Allocco in Finance checking on what AT&T is currently paying. Having to figure their payment by the <br /> CPI isn't as easy as adding 20%. As soon as I hear from Meg, I'll let you know what they are currently paying. <br /> Also, the June 5, 2001 TAC minutes covered AT&T's rent and discussion about changing their rental fee.
