• if you cut out 90' baseball field you hurt the kids understanding of
different size fields and that kidsports is not the only league in town.
• Expansion of sports fields too close to natural areas. Mitigation via
runoff/ pesticides/ fertilizers.
• The park is already intensively used for activities that generate traffic.
Once a portion of the land is developed.. for activity the natural apace is lost
forever. Take care of the remaining natural habitat.
• I still have concerns about the natural areas.
• The overflow parking area is abused and overused. It is becoming an ugly
rutted gravel pit.
• Not enough emphisis on wildlife habitat. Needs more passive, non
consumptive.
• We need to protect every inch of natural space.

Other-
• Less development, fewer athletic fields, more natural areas.
• .Multi-use ballfields are needed. This is one of the only opportunities for that to
happen.
• I appreciate the efforts at natural preservation and dog park amenities. Very
concerned with money desperately needed for natural resources going to athletics.
• Don't meet wants, because it is only focused on Amazon without looking at the
larger picture/ context. Stop using the work "needs" to describe "wants".
• I do not support more tennis courts. I do not support more drainage systems,
there are too many.
• I believe the park is being overdeveloped and places for flying kites and throwing
Frisbees is being lost.
• I support natural Amazon plan
• Some yes, some not. I would like to see west side more beautiful and pleasing to
walk and hang out.
• Some yes, some no,
3) Is there anything you would change about the concept diagrams?
• Pool parking, overflow is tough issues.
• No expansion of athletic fields. Let's make use of those we have, and
preserve the wetlands. Please no boardwalk.
• Less impervious area. Less semi-impervious area (lawns). Zero use of
biocides, fertilizer, new asphalt.
• No overflow parking. No ballfield development.
• Less interested in sports fields.
• Remove soccer fields from p lan. Too near creek and within delineated
wetland. Wetland mitigation doesn't really work. Much better to preserve
in the first place. Lease unused school fields instead.
• I would like to see native plant garden with perhaps some non-invasive
ornamentals .that aren't native plants.
_
