During <br /> construction, th bicycle and pedestrian path next to the channel will be closed. Cyclists can use <br /> i <br /> (the onstreet bik route on Marshall Street as an alternate route. <br /> The project is designed to enhance ongoing maintenance of the drainageway by removing <br /> obnoxious vege tion, including poison oak, from the channel banks and replacing the fence that <br /> separates the ch el from the adjacent bicycle and pedestrian path.
