The open house at <br /> <br /> !Sheldon Pool, 2 43 Willakenzie Road, is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to noon and will highlight <br /> <br /> II accessibility and energy conservation improvements at the pool. At Echo Hollow Pool, 1655 Echo <br /> <br /> ~I Hollow Road, th open house will run from 1 to 2 p.m. with a focus on newly constructed energy- <br /> conservation im rovements. <br /> <br /> ~ In work ust completed at Sheldon Pool, a new accessibility bay has been constructed in the <br /> shallow end of t e lap pool The stair bay was built using funds provided at the recommendation of the <br /> Eugene Human fights Accessibility Committee. Other recent improvement projects at Sheldon Pool <br /> include a new fi e alarm system, new emergency lighting, and automatic door openers. <br /> At Echo Hollow Pool, improvements include a new roof, family change rooms, a new fire alarm <br /> system, new em rgency lighting, and automatic door openers. <br /> <br /> II Energy fficiency improvements at Echo Hollow Pool, Sheldon Pool and Sheldon Community <br /> Center should r sult in a 40% energy savings. The project included upgrades to lighting, heating and <br /> ventilation syste sand the addition of computerized controls at both locations.
