Dianna/Kelly Pond <br /> is a unique pond ith a diverse population of birds. <br /> A volunte r work party will follow from 10 a.m. to noon. Activities will include litter <br /> cl an-up and rem val of invasive vegetation. Meet on Nantucket Street, west of North Park <br /> Ay+enue behind K lly Middle School. <br /> I <br /> The event 's open to the general public and children may attend with adult supervision. <br /> C ordination of th s work party is provided by Eugene Stream Team, a City of Eugene Public <br /> W rks program, b inging volunteers together to enhance local water quality and protect natural <br /> res urces such as s reams, ponds and wetlands. Dianna/Kelly Pond is a sensitive area which is <br /> ho e to the Weste Pond Turtle. <br /> Participant should wear sturdy shoes or boots and bring gloves.
