A <br /> II <br /> private consulting firm from Cincinnati, The Airport Technology and Planning Group, Inc. <br /> II <br /> (AirTech), has been selected to assist the City in preparing the update. Access Engineering Inc., <br /> I' of Eugene, will also assist in the effort. The plan update is jointly funded by the Federal Aviation <br /> Administration and the City of Eugene and is expected to take about a year to complete. <br /> U datin the Air ort's 1990 Master Plan will rovide a basis for lannin air ort <br /> p g p p P g P <br /> improvements that take into account recent commercial, industrial and residential development in <br /> I <br /> the greater Eugene area. Proper planning and timely developmenrt of airport facilities supports <br /> i <br /> growth in the local economy while ensuring that airport development is consistent with the <br /> I <br /> ~ community's economic, social, and environmental goals.
