He has overseen the preparation of numerous local and state pedestrian plans <br /> and research rojects and has conducted many visioning workshops. He is currently conducting <br /> <br /> I P <br /> pedestrian research projects for the Federal Highway Administration and has analyzed streets, <br /> activity centers, neighborhoods, and town centers in more than 200 cities in North America, <br /> Europe and Australia. <br /> As part of his visit to Eugene, Burden will also meet with transportation officials from <br /> other agencies, including Lane Transit District, and will conduct a design review of proposed <br /> project to improve Ayres Road from Gilham Road to Delta Highway.
