Inc. has been awarded a contract by the City of Eugene to repair and repave <br /> (two sections of the butte access road: a 1,200-foot section from Cheshire Street to the rock- <br /> I~~climbing area at the north end of Lincoln Street, and the 1,700-foot loop road and parking lot at <br /> ~Ithe top of the viewpoint. <br /> ~~I The company plans to close the lower segment of roadway for repair work on June 22, <br /> ~Ilthen close the upper loop road and parking lot June 23-26 for repairs. The schedule calls for <br /> ''paving to be done as soon as possible after repairs have been completed, with all work to be <br /> (,finished by July 3. While sections of the access road are closed, motorists and cyclists will be <br /> i <br /> Ildetoured on Cheshire to Pearl or Lawrence streets.
