At times during the paving operation, Willamette and <br /> Olive streets will be closed between 7`" and 10`" avenues. <br /> ~ Crews from Eugene Sand & Gravel plan to pave half the width of 8`" Avenue on <br /> I Thursday and complete the paving work on Friday. While paving work is being done in the <br /> I, intersections of 8`" and Willamette and Olive, those streets will be closed to through traffic. <br /> II!, Flaggers or barricades will direct motorists to use alternate routes. <br /> One travel lane generally will be kept open on 8`" Avenue. However, motorists are likely <br /> I <br /> to encounter delays both days and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid construction. <br /> III, The work on 8`" Avenue is part of a $434,000 project to repave 8`" Avenue between Oak <br /> i <br /> and Charnelton and Oak Street between 13`" and 5`" avenues.
