Employees <br /> fr m Industrial A hesives, Inc., will join local residents in the effort to remove unwanted <br /> <br /> ~r v getation, rebuil a sand box, work on player benches at the ball field, and generally clean up <br /> le ves and weeds. The west Eugene industrial firm pays its employees to participate in <br /> c unity servic work. <br /> Until a fe months ago, State Street park was a haven for criminal activity. But then <br /> ne ghbors decided to take back the park. The local neighborhood group, Active Bethel Citizens, <br /> he ped organize th residents, and Industrial Adhesives employees spent a day in October <br /> st ing to clean u the park. Neighbors met with police and began patrolling the park.
