Instead, motorists bound for homes and businesses on Willow Creek Road, <br /> ~ Pitchford Av nue and Westec Drive will need to detour via Bertelesen Road and West 18th <br /> Avenue to re ch Willow Creek Road. <br /> Work began in mid-June on the $3 million road improvement project. During the first <br /> phase of con ruction, Willow Creek Road was closed between Pitchford and West 18th Avenue <br /> as crews reco structed the south end of the road and began building a new alignment for the <br /> north end, w ich will intersect with Danebo Avenue at West 11th. <br /> Sever 1 weeks ago, construction began on the West 11th portion of the project. So far, <br /> traffic impact on West 11th have been limited to nighttime construction hours, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. <br /> In several we ks, it will be necessary to work during the day on portions of the travel lanes, and <br /> some daytim traffic delays will be likely.
