The schedule calls for all leaves to be picked up by January 9, 1998. <br /> Areas will a picked up in the following order: central Eugene (December 10-12), <br /> sou heast Eugene ( ecember 15-19), southwest Eugene (December 22-26), west Eugene <br /> (De~Cember 29-Jan 2), and north Eugene (January 5-9). <br /> Due to high volumes of leaves in north Eugene, the first round of collections is taking <br /> slig tly longer than anticipated. Public Works crews will be working in both north Eugene and <br /> can ral Eugene nex week and hope to be back on schedule by December 15. <br /> Residents c assist the City by recycling leaves whenever possible. If leaves are put out <br /> for ollection, they houldn't be piled in the street until the weekend before the scheduled <br /> pic up, and they sh uldn't be stacked close to or under parked cars.
