The Eugene Train <br /> t is located a 433 Willamette Street. Limited free parking will be available in the gravel <br /> t north of the de of on Fourth Avenue. There is also paid parking throughout the area. <br /> Amtrak's west U.S. locomotive will bring the Whistlestop Tour train to Eugene which <br /> i udes an interac ive exhibit car, a Superliner sleeper car, a Viewliner dome car and an <br /> fleet car all op for public viewing. Exhibits highlight the history of train stations and the <br /> it i role they play in local communities. <br /> At 1:30 pm brief remarks will be held near the train. Scheduled to speark are James D. <br /> o ey (Mayor of ugene), Bill Moirisette (Mayor of Springfield), and representatives of Amtrak <br /> The Great Am rican Station Foundation. <br /> At 1:45 pm he Foundation will host a Conductor's Costume Contest for children <br /> 2-12. Contes is should dress in their favorite conductor's outfit.
