"I m confident we can reach a design solution that honors Marist's safety concerns <br /> hile providin the citizens of Eugene with a much anticipated public amenity," she said. <br /> Some o the features of Eugene's current proposal include: <br /> - onstruction of berms, fences or block walls to create a visual barrier and <br /> d lineation between the bike path easement and the school use areas, <br /> - lighting along the full length of the proposed path, and <br /> - a provision to allow Marist to use the path alignment for maintenance access. <br /> The Ci of Eugene hopes to begin construction of this portion of the East Bank Bike Path <br /> i <br /> ~n 1998. Work is currently underway on the portion of the path between Delta Highway and <br /> ~eltline Road. <br /> I <br /> <br />
