The changes are the result of an ongoing review by the city's Public Works Department to <br /> make sure speed zones keep pace with traffic usage and development in the community. <br /> • On Chambers Street from Lorane Highway to 300 feet south of 25th Avenue, the speed limit is <br /> being lowered to 35 mph from the current 40 mph. <br /> • On River Road from Maxwell Road to Azalea Drive, the new speed limit will be 35 mph <br /> (currently 40 mph). <br /> • On 30th Avenue from 100 feet east of Agate Street to Spring Boulevard, the speed limit will be <br /> 45 mph (currently 55 mph). <br /> • On 18th Avenue from Bertelsen Road to Willow Creek road, the speed limit will be 45 mph <br /> (currently 50 mph). <br /> • On Willow Creek Road from 18th Avenue to Pitchford Avenue, the speed limit will be 35 mph <br /> (currently 45 mph) <br /> • On Chad Drive and Crescent Avenue east of Coburg Road, the posted speed limit will be 35 <br /> mph (currently not posted). <br /> Flagging or other advance warning will be used to alert motorists to the new speed limits for <br /> <br /> 'several weeks after the changes are made. <br /> <br />
