As the project progresses, construction hours will vary depending on the type of work <br /> being done. <br /> During construction, pedestrian access will be maintained to all downtown businesses. <br /> Both Eighth and Tenth avenues will remain open during construction although there may be <br /> occasional lane closures in the area of Willamette Street. The project is scheduled to be <br /> completed by mid-September, in time for the Eugene Celebration. <br /> When completed, the reopened section of Willamette Street will accommodate two-way <br /> <br /> traffic and provide onstreet parking, bicycle parking racks, spacious sidewalks, street trees, <br /> streetlights, and a central plaza area with decorative brick paving and other amenities. <br /> (more) <br /> <br />
