Motorists can use Franklin Boulevard as an alternative eastbound route. <br /> Construction on the $1 million project to rehabilitate East 11th Avenue between Franklin <br /> Boulevard and Pearl Street began in late May and is scheduled to be completed by September 1. <br /> The City of Eugene project includes replacing and upgrading portions of the wastewater <br /> collection system, rebuilding sections of the roadway, and putting a new surface on the entire <br /> street. The work is being done by Wildish Construction Co. <br /> To reduce traffic in the construction area, one of the two westbound turn lanes from <br /> Franklin Boulevard onto East 11th has been closed for the duration of the project. During <br /> daytime construction hours, westbound traffic on East 11th is limited to one lane.
