/I I~~~ <br /> Public Works <br /> Administration <br /> City of Eugene <br /> 858 Pearl Street <br /> Eugene, OR 97401 <br /> <br /> JUNE 13, 1996 (503) 687-5262 <br /> CONTACT: Bob Terrel, Project Manager, 687-5560 <br /> From Public Information Section, 687-5523 <br /> FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> NO TURNS ALLOWED OFF FRANKLIN TO EAST 11TH JUNE 17-19 <br /> Both westbound turn lanes from Franklin Boulevard to East 11th Avenue will be closed <br /> from 7 a.m. Monday, June 17, through Wednesday, June 19. The lanes are being closed to allow <br /> the construction of manholes in East 11th Avenue at Kincaid Street. <br /> The City of Eugene is making wastewater system and paving repairs to East 11th Avenue <br /> between Pearl Street and Franklin Boulevard. Work on the $1 million project began in late May <br /> and is scheduled to be completed by September 1. <br /> After the sanitary sewer manholes have been installed, one turn lane from Franklin onto <br /> East 11th will reopen. The eastbound traffic lane on East 11th between Hilyard Street and <br /> Franklin has been closed for the duration of the project. Westbound traffic on East 11th is <br /> limited to one lane during daytime construction hours and to two lanes at night and on weekends. <br /> For up-to-date information about City construction projects, call the traffic relief hotline <br /> at 984-8484. <br /> <br />
