The <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br /> I, $62,000 project will be paid for through City transportation funds and a grant from the state's <br /> bicycle and pedestrian program. <br /> i <br /> The excavation, paving, and concrete work necessary to make the improvements is <br /> expected to ta~Ce several weeks to complete. At times during construction, westbound traffic on <br /> 29th Avenue tlraffic will be detoured north onto Lincoln Street and west on 28th Avenue. While <br /> this detour is ~n effect, Washington Street will be closed to southbound traffic at 27th Avenue to <br /> avoid conflicts with westbound traffic at 28th and Washington.
