This means parking continues to be prohibited along <br /> i snow emer ency routes until the parking ban is lifted. <br /> ' Sno emergency routes include streets that are classified as collectors, arterials, and <br /> ' bus routes. Parked cars or abandoned vehicles on these streets can cause problems for snow <br /> removal eq ipment, buses, and emergency vehicles. The City has the authority to tow <br /> I <br /> vehicles pa ked or stranded along priority routes. <br /> ~I <br /> Bob Hammitt, Public Works maintenance director, recommended that people avoid <br /> dangerous now and ice conditions by not driving.
