The changes are a result of a recently completed city of Eugene study of <br /> speed zoning on local arterial streets. The results of the study were reviewed and adopted by <br /> the state Speed Control Board, which is the agency responsible for establishing speed zones in <br /> Oregon. <br /> Except for Willakenzie Road, all of the speed zones were reduced. Willakenzie Road <br /> <br /> t#rrr was increased by five miles an hour. Affected streets and speed zone changes include: <br /> Ayres Rd. between Delta Highway and Gilham Rd.: from 55 to 35 mph <br /> Cal ''i'oung Rd. between Coburg Rd. and Willagillespie Rd.: from 40 to 35 mph <br /> Cobutrg Rd. between Chad Dr. to 500 feet north of Kinney Loop: from 45 to 40 mph <br /> Country Club Rd. between Coburg Rd. and Southwood Lane: from 40 to 30 mph <br /> Garden Way between Harlow Rd. and Centennial Blvd.: from 40 to 35 mph <br /> Goodpasture Island Rd. between Norkenzie Rd. and Delta Highway: from 40 to 35 mph <br /> Gooc~pasture Island Rd. between Delta Highway and Valley River Dr.: from unposted <br /> t5o 40 mph <br /> Oak ont Way between Oakway Rd. and Sorrel Way: from unpo ~d to 25 mph <br /> Sout wood Lane between Coburg Rd. and Country Club Rd.: from 45 to 40 mph <br /> Will ketizie Rd. between Coburg Rd. and Bogart Lane: from 25 to 30 mph <br /> more <br /> <br />
