Sometimes there are underlying problems that <br /> i <br /> need to be aken care of, such as tree roots pushing up the sidewalk or a leaking water line <br /> washing a y the ground under the sidewalk. <br /> Afte property owners are notified by the City, they have 20 days to correct the <br /> i <br /> ~ problems. here are several options for fixing deficient sidewalks: property owners can <br /> make their wn repairs; they can hire a private contractor to do the repairs; or they can have <br /> the City do the work. It may be less expensive for property owners to hire a contractor or do <br /> I <br /> the work t mselves. The City's minimum charge for sidewalk construction is $275.
