The new service <br /> will also in Jude connecting station-to-station bus service and discounted introductory fares. <br /> The ount Rainier will be the second train serving Eugene-Sprin field on a dail <br /> g Y <br /> basis. The oast Starlight currently stops in Eugene on its West Coast run. The northbound <br /> Mount Rain er train will depart Eugene daily at 6:10 a.m., and will return at 11:45 p.m. each <br /> day. The ast Starlight departs Eugene at 12:40 p.m. daily on its northbound run. The <br /> southbound Coast Starlight departs Eugene at 4:22 p.m. daily, continuing south to California. <br /> "We are very pleased and excited to have two trains per day leaving Eugene for points <br /> north," Eug ne Mayor Ruth Bascom said Tuesday at a news conference held to announce the <br /> enhanced tr in service. "I think many people will end that it is a pleasant and convenient <br /> way to tray 1, for both business and leisure." <br /> T further improve commuter transportation, Amtrak is adding two special Thruway <br /> buses with tops in Eugene. The northbound buses leave the Amtrak station in Eugene at <br /> 2:55 p.m. d 6:55 p.m. daily.
