They will also explain the eight alternatives proposed for more <br /> <br /> I, intensive study in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. <br /> On M 17 at 7:30 p.m., staff will make a presentation to the combined <br /> West Univ rsity, South University, and Fairmont neighborhood groups in the <br /> cafeteria of the Edison Elementary School, 1328 East 22nd. <br /> On M 23 at 7 p.m., they will speak to the combined Whiteaker, <br /> Westlake, nd the Jefferson Area neighborhood groups in the cafeteria of the <br /> Whiteaker lementary School, at 21 North Grand. <br /> In 19 9, the city of Eugene began a study of the Ferry Street Bridge <br /> corridor t seek solutions to existing safety concerns and projected traffic <br /> <br /> I <br /> growth for the area. <br /> The st dy will examine alternative solutions and their possible impact on <br /> the enviro ment and the community. A Draft Environmental Impact Statement <br /> will be co pleted this winter, and the Final Environment Impact Statement <br /> will be pu lished in the summer of 1991.
