Although crews from the city of Eugene Public Works <br /> ~ Departure t are working to catch up, Richard Zucker, Public Works Maintenance <br /> supervis r, says they are nearly a week behind schedule. This week, crews <br /> will fin sh up the first round in the City View area (Area 4, Southwest <br /> Eugene). By the end of this week or by early next week, they will begin the <br /> i <br /> <br /> ~ second a d last round of pick up, starting with the North Eugene area. <br /> Zuck r said he expects his crews to catch up and be back on schedule at <br /> some poi t during the second round. He asked that residents follow the <br /> original schedule to make sure they don't miss the last collection. Leaves <br /> left on he street after the last pick up are the responsibility of the <br /> property owner to remove, Zucker added. <br /> If esidents don't want to wait for the scheduled pick up, they may take <br /> their le ves to the stockpile at the Amazon Pool parking lot at East 26th <br /> Avenue a d Hilyard Street. <br /> For more information, please call 687-5220. <br /> <br />
