The plan will include policies to help the city effectively <br /> and equita ly manage trees on public and private property. Scoping meetings <br /> are schedu ed for Tuesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 11, from 7 p.m. to 9 <br /> p.m. in EW 6's Training Room, 500 East 4th Street. Participants at the <br /> meetings w 11 be asked to help the Commission and staff identify elements <br /> that shoal be included in the plan. <br /> The T esday (April 9) meeting will focus on issues of concern to <br /> i <br /> I profession is who work in tree-related businesses, such as landscapers, <br /> landscape rchitects, builders, real estate agents, developers, etc. The <br /> Thursday ( pril 11) meeting will address issues of concern to community <br /> residents. Although each meeting will focus on a particular interest area, <br /> people are welcome to attend either or both sessions. <br /> Accor ing to the city's newly hired Urban Forester Jan Staszewski, <br /> developing the plan is the Tree Commission's highest priority for the next <br /> year.
