The meeting will be held on Monday, <br /> April 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the city of Eugene Council Chambers, 777 Pearl <br /> Street. The Planning Commission and Tree Commission have reviewed the plan <br /> and reco mended it to the City Council for adoption. <br /> <br /> r ~ <br /> The plan outlines policies and proposed actions for tree selection, <br /> trees on publicly owned property, trees on private property, heritage trees, <br /> and educ tion approaches. The plan will guide the city in its actions and <br /> decision affecting trees within the city limits. <br /> Rec mmendations from the two groups differ about whether the retention <br /> of trees on private property and heritage trees on private property should be <br /> "mandato y" or "voluntary." <br /> Copies of the plan are available at the Public Works Building, 858 Pearl <br /> Street; he Permit and Information Center, 244 East Broadway; and the <br /> Planning Division at City Hall, 777 Pearl Street. <br /> <br />
