Obnoxious vegetation is any vegetation that impairs <br /> motorists visibility, blocks the public right-of-way, or poses afire hazard. <br /> The ordin nce helps eliminate fire and traffic hazards and protect the health <br /> and safet of residents. <br /> Unde eloped property includes individually numbered tax lots with an <br /> assessed mprovement value of $500 or less. Owners of undeveloped property <br /> must cut r remove all grass and weeds over 10 inches high, including <br /> easements and adjoining rights-of-way. Blackberries cannot infringe onto <br /> abutting roperties or onto public streets, alleys, sidewalks, or bike paths. <br /> For eveloped properties, the ordinance is in effect all year and <br /> includes egetation, visual obstructions, garbage, and debris. If a code <br /> violation is found on developed property, the owner is notified by letter. <br /> Any egetation on undeveloped property that blocks the visibility of <br /> motorists must be removed throughout the year, the same as on developed <br /> property. <br /> more <br /> <br /> Ij <br /> <br />
