People of all ages -from groups of school <br /> children xcited about the chance to climb onto the seat of bulldozer to <br /> adults in erested in learning more about the ways in which public works <br /> services re funded - attend the event. <br /> "Thi is a chance for the public to really see what we do and to talk <br /> with the rofessionals who work everyday to keep Eugene safe and healthy," <br /> said Publ'c Works Director Christine Andersen. The event offers many <br /> displays nd activities for all ages, young and old alike. This is our sixth <br /> open hour and we have people who come back year after year because it's a <br /> fun way t learn about our services," Andersen added. <br /> The heme of this year's open house is "Public Works and You."
