Donna was recently named KIDSPORTS' "Volunteer of the Year" for <br /> her work n a variety of activities, which included serving on the softball, <br /> soccer, a d volleyball advisory committees; participating on the Taste of <br /> Eugene st Bring committee and Coaches Training committee; and coaching a <br /> soccer an volleyball team. <br /> Cyndi McMann, KIDSPORT vice president of business/personnel, said of <br /> Donna: "hen I reflected on the past year...(Donna's) smiling face always <br /> seems to a present. (Donna) is always able to lend a hand regardless of the <br /> situation, from selling concessions, taking gate receipts, recruiting other <br /> volunteers, coaching teams, heading sports advisory committees, assisting <br /> III with the ante of Eugene, or helping with registration. In fact, I have <br /> I~ never head her say no." <br /> Donna has been involved with 25 or more teams over the last six years. <br /> She says she became involved with KIDSPORTS because she believed in their <br /> mission an their top notch programs. <br /> She is now training her children, Holly, Wendy and Daniel, to be volun- <br /> teers, and they are regular helpers at KIDSPORTS activities.
