Two-hour parking limit signs will be <br /> instalie in the area between Agate and Villard streets from the 1400 block <br /> south to, but not including, East 19th Avenue. Under the permit program, <br /> on-stree parking will be limited to a maximum of two hours, Monday through <br /> Friday, rom 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., except holidays. City of Eugene parking <br /> control fficers will begin patrolling the area on February 17, once the new <br /> signs ar in place. <br /> Thi program is a joint effort of the Fairmount Neighborhood <br /> Associat on, the city of Eugene, and the University of Oregon and is being <br /> implemen ed at the request of residents in the area to reduce traffic and <br /> on-stree parking congestion. The program restricts all-day, on-street <br /> parking y commuters and gives priority to area residents with permits by <br /> exemptin them from posted parking time limits. <br /> On.l residents and property owners in the area will be able to purchase <br /> Zone A p rmits.
