The type of work Public Works employees engage in is often <br /> hazardous and strenuous. Typical activities include working in traffic and <br /> with elec ricity; handling concrete and asphalt; working on large equipment, <br /> machinery and aerial trucks, and working in trenches and confined spaces. <br /> i~ <br /> In FY91, aintenance only had 18 accident claims.
