Keeping critical <br /> snow rout s open ensures that emergency vehicles, buses, and traffic can move <br /> safety ar and town, Hammitt said. <br /> Unde an ordinance adopted by the Eugene City Council in 1990, parking <br /> is not al owed on priority one, two, and three streets during periods of <br /> sleet, fr ezing rain, or icy weather or when more than one inch of snow <br /> accumulat s on streets within the city limits. The ordinance also gives the <br /> city the uthority to tow vehicles parked or stranded along priority routes, <br /> and to cl se any street to vehicular or pedestrian traffic. <br /> (more ) <br /> <br />
