Boggs plans to begin work with the city on <br /> October 10, 1988. His annual salary will be $52,464. <br /> Boggs has been director of aviation for Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport <br /> ~ in Chariot esville, Virginia since 1985. He first joined the airport in 1977 <br /> <br /> ~rr ~ as airport manager, leaving six years later to manage Walker Field Airport in <br /> Grand Jun tion, Colorado. In 1985, he returned to Charlottesville-Albermarle <br /> after cit and county officials hired him back to manage their $16.5 million <br /> j airport a pansion project. <br /> Bogg is 44 years old and has a degree in business administration from <br /> I <br /> East Carolina University. He was a pilot for the United States Navy for six <br /> years, an as part of his shore duty, he was airfield officer for the Naval <br /> Air Stati n.
