Th Eugene Bicycle Committee will hold a special meeting on January <br /> i <br /> 6, 1977 at 7:30 P.t~f. in the McNutt Room of City Hall. The topic of <br /> 1 <br /> ~ discuss on will be the Valley River Bicycle - Pedestrian Bridge. <br /> En ineers from the Ore on Bridge En ineering Company will present <br /> 9 9 <br /> prelimi ary designs for the proposed bridge, according to Diane Bishop, <br /> Bicycle Coordinator for the City of Eugene. The Bicycle Committee is <br /> expecte to select a design concept, 4vhich will then be reviewed by State <br /> and Fed ral officials. <br /> Th Valley River Bridge was recently selected for federal funding <br /> j under the national Bikeway Demonstration program.
