A bike ride will follow the <br /> discussio . <br /> Acco ding to George Recker, chair of the Eugene Bicycle Committee, the <br /> Corps of ngineers' recently released plan reduces tfie recreational emphasis <br /> I for the 1 ke and places a number of conditions on the planned bicycle path. <br /> a <br /> Recker sa'd that commitments to the Fern Ridge Bicycle Path date from the <br /> early 197 s when it was first included in the Corps original master plan for <br /> Fern Ridg Lake and in bicycle, transportation, and land use plans adopted by <br /> Eugene, S ringfield, and Lane County. <br /> j "The two cities and the county have been working on the plan for more <br /> than 10 y ars," Recker said.
