Lyle has been <br /> i acting in capacity as the city engineer for that past eight months and has <br /> managed t e city engineering division. <br /> Acco ding to Public Works Director Christine Andersen, Lyle was the <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> outstandi g candidate. "Les has been with Public Works for nine years and <br /> <br /> ~ has an ex ensive background in project design and scheduling, budget and <br /> contract dministration, assessment processing, and bidding requirements," <br /> said Ande sen. "He has shown an aptitude for moving the division towards <br /> increased operational productivity and is a well-rounded, effective manager <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> a who has s own his ability to build strong relationships both within the <br /> departmen and with the public. We feel fortunate to have a person of Les' <br /> calibre a part of the department." <br /> ' Lyle was supervising civil engineer from 1985-1987 during which he <br /> G <br /> managed t e $10 million federally funded River Road/Santa Clara sewer <br /> project. He has implemented a storm sewer master plan that catalogues <br /> the city' existing storm and sanitary sewer lines and will be used to <br /> monitor a d update future sewer line refinements. <br /> Lyle received his civil engineering degree from Oregon State Univeristy <br /> and is a egistered professional civil engineer with the state of Oregon. <br /> f <br /> i <br /> <br /> i{ <br /> i <br /> f <br /> <br />
