Bob <br /> Hammitt, aintenance director, asks that residents pile leaves on the street prior to Monday morning of the <br /> week sche uled for leaf pickup in their area. <br /> To keep torm drains flowing during the rainy weather, Hammitt said leaves should be piled on the street <br /> so that guff rs and ditches are clear. <br /> Hammitt also cautioned against placing leaves in marked bike lanes, as they create a satety hazard for <br /> bicyclists.
