The city maintenance division has received a number of <br /> reports co cerning the slippery sand. <br /> ~ Bob Ha mitt, city maintenance director, asks residents to sweep the sand <br /> from their sidewalks into adjacent gutters, and the city street sweepers will <br /> collect th sand during their rounds. No brush or yard clippings will be <br /> collected, since the sand is reused for trenching projects and, if clean <br /> enough, fo street sanding during future snow and ice storms. <br /> I <br /> <br /> ~r <br /> <br />
