An emphasis was placed on projects that would create a lasting <br /> legacy through permanent improvements, are focused on areas most likely to impact the Eugene '08 <br /> experience and those that could realistically be completed by June of 2008. Project leads were <br /> `w designated and budget targets for each were developed. The current list of projects includes: <br /> Way-Finding and Interpretive Signage $48,000 ~ <br /> Provide appropriate signage for directions to/from Hayward Field and river paths, downtown. Enhance bridge, replace bridge rail and bench. <br /> Recycling • $5,000 ~ ~o~ <br /> Place rece~~~es~nai information about recycling along riverfront and bike/pedestrian trails on <br /> the corridor fram Autzen Stadium to Hayward Field . <br /> Willamette River Cleanup <br /> Bank clean up, invasive species removal and habitat restoration.
